Criteria & Information

Web sites are reviewed for an award based upon several criteria. Please be sure your site is at its best prior to entering!
Remember this contest is only open to residents of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, at this time.
quality list:

Your web site does not need to be a full domain, but it must adhere to these standards. Blogs and "free" sites will be considered. All must have:

Excellent navigation
Good color scheme
Clear, well-written content
No needless graphics (graphics should be both small and rarely used as this hinders accessibility).
Homepage must be free of content requiring a "plug-in," "add-on," or other program that isn't on internet browsers (i.e. flash).
Homepage must not take over 30 seconds for a dial-up connection to download.
No flashing or annoying ads or "pop-up" advertising.
